Dr. Galia Blum, a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine’s Institute of Drug Research, hopes to stop cancer before it starts.The prestigious European Research Council recently awarded Blum one of its highly sought after scientific grants of 1.5 million Euros for her design of a series of CT contrast probes that identify and target the processes that lead to tumor formation.
